READ : Matthew 20:29-34
Paul was “flashed” by a light from heaven and realized the meaning of the cross and the purpose of suffering. Then he changed from being ordinary to an apostle. The road to Damascus was his place to encounter God.
Where is your Damascus? God will “flash” you in your situation too. When we first believed in Jesus Christ, we were changed from sinners into children of God, heirs of the Kingdom of God.
There were two blind men sitting by the roadside shouting, “Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David! Lord, let our eyes be opened.” Jesus touched their eyes. Immediately they regained their sight and followed him. They were “flashed” by the light of Jesus Christ.
It could be Damascus. It could be on a roadside, near the seashore, or at a tax collector’s table. Or maybe in your home, school or office.
If Jesus comes into our lives, our lives will be blessed. There will be joy, peace and hope. He will “flash” his light on us and we will become lights in the world.
Dear Lord, open our eyes, ears and hearts. We want to have a very wonderful meeting with you, Lord.
